My husband had the day off.
One of the reasons we chose to homeschool is so that we could spend time together as a family when my husband is off from work.
He took my son to preschool and when he came home we went for a nature walk. My daughter has been learning about plants, flowers, and seeds so in a combined effort to both exercise and complete science, we went for a nature walk this morning.
We only have some many days left before winter will set in here and so we have to take advantage of the nice, cool fall days while we still can.
We walked out on the trail while our daughter rode her bike. We talked about how peaceful it is out while taking in the fresh air and collecting flowers, plants, dandelions, caterpillars, and just enjoying God's creation and just being together.
I am feeling very blessed and thankful for the opportunity to homeschool.
